As spring arrives, the days get longer, our world gets greener, and it’s time to get ready for Streetscape 2025! We invite you to be part of our 28th annual Planting Day as we clean and beautify downtown and prepare for a fun-filled summer. Last year, nearly 1,000 volunteers supported Youngstown CityScape’s efforts to bring color and beauty downtown. Your commitment will help us beat our record and show off our city’s best!

Planting Day this year is on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 9:00 am until Noon. Join us for continental breakfast at 9 am, and a full lunch at Penguin City at noon! Don’t forget – the first 500 registrants for Streetscape Planting Day will receive a 2025 t-shirt!

This year’s theme, “Streetscape 2025 – Peace, Love & Flowers” reminds us that community support plays a powerful role in projects that have real life, positive impact on Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley. It is a theme we hope conveys the universal language of positivity, unity, and of making our community a more beautiful place one flower at a time.
