Join us for Youngstown’s Light Up Night and Holiday Parade on Saturday, November 28, 2026, as downtown comes alive with holiday festivities, community traditions, and a celebration for all ages!
Festivities begin at 4:00 PM with Flea on Phelps, featuring local vendors, shopping, food, and holiday fun throughout the Phelps Street area. Santa’s Workshop at OH WOW! will also be open from 4:00-6:00 PM, providing families an opportunity to visit with Santa and enjoy holiday activities. In addition, The NightCap Band will provide live music from 4:00-6:00 PM on the Main Stage.
At 6:00 PM, the Holiday Parade will step off, bringing festive floats, community organizations, performers, and holiday cheer through downtown Youngstown. Following the parade, join us for the lighting of the community Christmas tree at approximately 7:30 PM, followed by a special drone light show.

This year, we are also proud to introduce our ADA Inclusive Accessibility Zone from 4-8 PM, designed to provide a welcoming and supportive space for individuals and families with disabilities and varying sensory, mobility, communication, and accessibility needs. The zone will include sensory-friendly resources, designated accessible drop-off and pick-up access, ASL interpretation and streaming interpretation from the main stage, accessible restroom facilities, and a quieter environment where attendees can enjoy the celebration with additional support. Please consider joining our team. We need volunteers at the staging area (the Covelli Centre Parking Lot) and along the parade route.

The ADA-Inclusive Accessibility Zone at Light Up Night is a welcoming, accessible space designed to help individuals of all ages and abilities comfortably experience the holiday festivities.
The zone provides a quieter, more accommodating environment for individuals with disabilities, sensory sensitivities, mobility needs, and other access considerations. Guests will be able to enjoy the celebration while having access to supports designed to reduce common barriers associated with large, crowded community events.
