Streetscape Planting Day 2024
Birds are chirping! Buds are waiting to burst! It’s almost time for Streetscape 2024, and our 27th annual Planting Day. We invite you to be part of our downtown event and volunteer luncheon while we take on our most challenging planting day ever!
Come help us plant, mulch, and weed on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 9:00 am until Noon. This year’s theme, “Streetscape 2024 – Greenery & Good Vibes”- reminds us that a positive vision for downtown, our city, and our region is only a plant away.
Please consider becoming an official sponsor of our 27th annual planting day. Your contribution helps us purchase materials, plants, mulch, and the tools necessary to have a successful planting season.
More than ever, we need your help to accomplish our beautification goals. With the new and improved street design downtown comes nearly six times more greenspace to plant, prune, and water. Last year there was approximately 11,850 square feet of beds and pots. This year and going forward there are over 74,000 square feet!
